All I have to say is, Romans 8:28 All things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. Whatever Satan tries to take and mean for evil, God can turn around and make it for good. Besides, read all the blurbs on the Idol sites, even the non-christians knew the song was about praise to God. God is moving in the world today!!And have faith that next time, the name of Jesus will be praised on the air!
The song is powerful no doubt about it and yes I do believe God can use anything for his purposes. I’m still not excited about saying this was a near hit. Maybe I’m wrong. Just what I’m thinking.
Nope, listen to it again. They substituted “My Jesus” with “My Sheppard”. Now we Christians know who that is but it loses a LOT of punch on unbelievers.
Isn’t Jesus our shepherd? I think a lot of people take things way tooo personal. I’m very happy that they actually sang one of my favorite worship songs. Although I did not hear the first version until i looked it up on You tube. I saw the one that they sang the words My Jesus. I believe it is totally a God thing. He is in control.

In the beginning, they did say “my Jesus, my Savior, Lord there is none like You.”
So how exactly did they leave out the name of Jesus?
